Job Summary 
Join our team as an Elixir Engineer and help build and scale modern web applications. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to design robust, high-performance solutions using modern technologies and best development practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Elixir and modern web technologies
• Build and deliver full-stack, data-backed products following MVC architecture principles
• Collaborate with business and technical SMEs to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions
• Translate business needs into well-designed, maintainable software solutions
• Participate across the full development lifecycle: analysis, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, and support
• Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and test coverage strategies
• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure code quality through testing practices such as TDD or modern testing methodologies
• Use Git effectively within a collaborative development environment
• Adapt to new technologies and continuously improve development practices
• Take ownership and leadership responsibilities in specific product or engineering areas when needed

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 4+ years of experience as an Elixir engineer, including building complete data-backed products
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Experience working with systems running on Ruby, Rails, and Elixir
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Full MVC (model-view-controller) development experience
• Experience using Git productively in a team environment
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle

Nice to have 

• Experience with Kafka
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with non-relational databases and their role in web architectures

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
